Dr. Saad Saad – A Surgery With An Opened Heart

For most of us, children are a real fortune. When we speak or think about children we are always so emotional. Especially if we consider children who are facing health issues.

The fact that there are many sick children in the world is something that makes us very sad. And yet, some people’s destiny is tied to children with serious health issues.

Have you ever thought about how it would affect you if you were predestined to save the lives of the children? Would it be a joy or a burden to you? Would you be able to handle your emotions and be professional? One man has managed to be both – emotional and professional at the same time. That man is Dr. Saad Saad.

A Tough Start

Even though he is awarded for his research and achievements, Dr. Saad has remained a very simple and modest man. His early life was not milk&honey. He was the eight children born in a Palestinian family during 1940s. In that time, Palestine went through a hard political situation and a great political transition.

One day, while his father was working – the rest of the family was boarded to a bus, and they had to leave. They never thought it would be for a long time, but life took them in a different direction.

Dr. Saad’s father who was a mechanic in the petrol industry soon shifted the whole family to Kuwait. But life is unpredictable, and when it closes one door to us, it will always open another one. Dr. Saad Saad studied medicine in Egypt at the University of Cairo. His father and hard life situations gave him the inspiration to become a pediatric surgeon.

Dr. Saad’s Impact On Children’s Lives

Dr. Saad Saad was thoroughly built his career, taking it to step by step. Not just he’s professionally trained, but today he is one of the most influenced and respected pediatric surgery experts. His knowledge and the sense for innovation attracted not only world medical experts, but also humanitarian organizations, respected medical institutions, and even the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia.

However, Dr. Saad Saad remained a modest man who has never forgotten his roots and the state of Palestine. Among his many awards, there was a special one – for an extraordinary effort in helping the people of Palestine.

After many years, he was finally able to go to Palestine in 2008. Sure, it was for the good and noble cause. He was passing his medical skills to young medical doctors and helped the unprivileged people and their children who couldn’t have medical help.

Prior to his retirement, he patented his two inventions and developed new procedures in pediatric surgery.
