Once on the island of Upolu, it is a heavenly location. In Samoan mythology, it is said that the first woman on the island was named Upolu. Some adventurous travelers even slide off the rocks along the waterfalls and splash into the pools below. The Sua Trench Swimming Pool is one worthy of professional photography. There is a wooden staircase that brings swimmers down to the pool that is surrounded in lush, tropical greenery.
While in Fagali, visitors should seek out the Fiafia Night, an event where local performers dance and organize fire ceremonies. Travelers who enjoy religious history, can visit the Immaculate Conception of Mary Cathedral. With breath-taking murals and perfect stained-glass windows, this cathedral defines architectural beauty.
