Born in Minnesota, Dr. Sameer Jejurikar attended medical school at the University of Michigan. After graduation, he relocated to New York to study at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. A gifted surgeon and inspirational speaker, Dr. Jejurikar sought a path where could use his talents to improve people’s lives.
Dr. Sameer Jejurikar began to focus on plastic surgery early in his career. At the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute where he now practices, Dr. Jejurikar performs primarily elective, cosmetic surgeries. However, he uses his skills and financial proceeds to give back to those less fortunate. To offer his services to those who need them, Dr. Jejurikar travels abroad. There he performs corrective and reconstructive surgeries on those with cleft palates and other disfigurements.
In another worthy endeavor, Dr. Jejurikar belongs to the International Multisociety Gluteal Fat Grafting Task Force. This association explores preventive measures surgeons can take to alleviate risky side effects caused by the augmentation procedure. Fellow doctors and patients appreciate his teaching presentations and research contributions.
